Meet at the restaurant of the Liberty Riverside Hotel between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. (Hotel address: 17 Ton Duc Thang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Phone: +84 28 3827 1717). Enjoy lunch at the hotel before kicking off our afternoon with an introduction to Saigon’s vibrant daily life. We'll visit Chinatown, then explore the 300-year-old Giac Lam Pagoda—the oldest in the city. A short walk through the Flower Market and Binh Tay Market offers a glimpse of local trade and fresh produce. Transfer to the ship. After settling into your cabin, join us for a welcome cocktail to meet the crew, followed by dinner onboard. We’ll remain docked overnight in downtown Saigon. Optional Tour: "Saigon After Dark"—an evening street food and nightlife adventure from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Ride as a passenger on a vintage Vespa scooter, sampling local cuisine, cocktails, seafood, and Vietnamese crepes. The night ends at a live music venue where you can enjoy local entertainment. NB* This option requires an additional payment AND waiver declaration which sits outside of the usual trip agreement. Enjoy breakfast onboard before heading into the city for a walking tour. We'll stop at landmarks like the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Square, and the Opera House—showcasing French colonial architecture. Enjoy some green space and a taste of Vietnam’s famous coffee culture. Return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum for a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s history. Later, we set sail for My Tho. Dinner onboard and overnight cruising.

Start the day cruising through the busy Cho Gao Canal. This vibrant stretch of waterway, filled with local traffic and shore activity, is a highlight unique to our route. At My Tho, a local boat takes us to Thoi Son Island where we meet local villagers and sample seasonal fruit. Enjoy a sampan ride through the narrow canals and a leisurely bike ride through orchards and quiet paths. Lunch onboard as we cruise to Cai Be. In Cai Be, we explore craft villages by local boat, visit fruit orchards, taste fresh produce, and listen to live local music. In the afternoon, choose between kayaking or biking for a hands-on experience of the delta. Cruise on to Sa Dec. Dinner and overnight onboard.

After breakfast, take a boat for a panoramic tour of Sa Dec. Walk through the riverside market and discover a city that remains largely untouched by tourism. Visit colonial-era buildings, including the famous “Chinaman’s House” from Marguerite Duras’ novel The Lover. Return to the ship as we sail toward Chau Doc. Lunch and dinner onboard.

Enjoy breakfast before our visit to Tra Su Forest. Explore this peaceful nature reserve by small local boats, and spot the diverse flora and fauna. Later, ride a cable car up Sam Mountain for panoramic views. At the top, visit Ba Chua Xu Temple before returning to the ship for lunch. We continue to the Vinh Xuong border for immigration into Cambodia. Cruise to Phnom Penh, arriving by evening. Dinner onboard and overnight at anchor.

After breakfast, explore the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda—two of Cambodia’s cultural highlights—followed by a visit to the National Museum. In the afternoon, hop on a tuk-tuk to visit the Art Deco-style Central Market. Then walk through hidden alleyways for a real look at everyday life—locals drinking coffee, playing chess, and preparing food. Continue to Wat Phnom and finish with a walk through the French Quarter, full of colonial architecture. Return to the ship for an Apsara dance performance, dinner, and a free evening to explore the bustling capital as you wish. Overnight onboard in Phnom Penh.

We sail to Kampong Tralach, where a tuk-tuk ride takes us to the Vihara at Wat Kampong Tralach Leu. Return via tuk-tuk or bicycle through scenic countryside and rice paddies. After lunch onboard, travel by van to Oudong, Cambodia’s former capital. Visit the Vipassana Dhura Meditation Center, then climb to the top of the hill to visit ancient stupas and enjoy wide-open views of the plains. Continue cruising to Kampong Chhnang. Dinner and overnight onboard.

Breakfast onboard before visiting Kampong Chhnang, a major fishing and pottery center on Tonle Sap Lake. Learn about traditional pottery techniques and sample regional products. Join a cycling trip along the riverside and to the pottery village. Lunch onboard as we sail to Koh Chen. Farewell dinner and overnight at anchor.

After breakfast, transfer by air-conditioned coach to Lotus Blanc Hotel in Siem Reap (5–6 hour journey). Arrival at approximately 12:30 p.m. NB* Please schedule flights no earlier than 3:30 p.m.

Some shore landings and excursions may involve uneven terrain, wet landings, or light scrambling. Shore landings and navigating the boat may require balance and agility, though our experienced team is always on hand to assist. Each trip may include a variety of optional activities, most of which require no prior experience.
